2011 Honda Odyssey - Safety for your Family doesn’t get much better than this!

Hendrick Honda Woodbridge believes safety is the number one goal.  Honda makes that happen with  the 2011 Honda Odyssey  in fact the Odyssey just made history by becoming the first and only minivan to win the NHTSA’s (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) highest honor of 2011 Top Safety Pick.  The Odyssey also won the highest possible safety ratings for the IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety) and the NHTSA.  Not only did it pass stringent testing for front, side, rear and rollover crashes in protecting vehicle occupants, it even passed the rigorous roof-strength test.
The 2011 Odyssey was also one of the first vehicles to win the “Overall Vehicle Score” of 5 stars for crash scenarios, and 4 stars for the rollover rating as the federal New Car Assessment Program (NCAP), being applied for the first time to 2011 models.
What makes the 2011 Odyssey so different?
With increased interior functionality, more distinctive styling and better fuel economy have helped make the new Odyssey a winner among Honda and minivan drivers all around.  Aside from more comfortable seating and a more powerful, efficient 3.5 liter i-VTEC engine that delivers 248 horsepower, there is a rear entertainment system with a 16.2” ultra-wide split-screen display and auxiliary HDMI video input.  The “intelligent” i-MID (Multi-Information Display) has customizable wallpaper and integration of FM traffic data among many other features.

Honda CR-V – An Award Winning Family Vehicle!!

Practical and safe are just some of the things that come to mind when thinking about transporting your most precious cargo – your family! And with today’s active and busy on-the-go lifestyles, having affordable, safe and reliable transportation is an absolute must.   Today’s families are, needless to say, fast-paced, and between the parent’s work schedule and the kid’s school and extra-curricular schedules, families need a vehicle as flexible as they are.

The Honda CR-V is the perfect Sport Utility Vehicle for the modern family. For decades, Honda has been engineering award winning vehicles that meet the needs of people everywhere.  Meeting and beating challenges that range from a wide variety of issues such as safety, technological, environmental, affordability, comfort, performance, resale value, and then some.

Best Cars says that while, “The 2011 CR-V has not yet been crash tested, the highly-similar 2010 CR-V receives top score of five-stars in all federal government front and side crash tests, as well as a four-star rollover score. In crash tests conducted by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, the 2010 CR-V earns a top score of “Good” in front offset and side impact tests.”
Reviewer’s are applauding its list of safety features -- which includes everything expected in a family SUV: dual-stage front airbags, front side airbags, front and rear side curtain airbags, anti-lock brakes, Anti-lock Brakes, Vehicle Stability Assist with Traction Control and Brake Assist.”
Kelley Blue Book honored the 2011 CR-V with its Best Resale Value Award in both the Compact Utility Vehicle and Top 10 categories and also states, "Visibility is good in all directions, even to the rear."
Cars.com says, “What I love about the CR-V's safety features is that everything is standard. From the entry-level base model to the top of the line EX-L, all of the safety stuff is included because, really, saving lives shouldn't be optional."
Additionally, the Honda CR-V has earned props form Edmunds.com and Motor Trend and the CR-V earned an Ultra-Low-Emission Vehicle (ULEV-2) rating by the California Air Resources Board, which makes sense since Honda is  “recognized as the country’s Greenest Automaker by the Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS)―for the fifth time in a row.”

2011 Honda Accord – Winner all the way!

The popular car remains popular as ever. Honda Accord remains the second best-selling car in the United States despite the topsy-turvy economic times that has hit the U.S. economy. Hendrick Honda, your nearest Honda car dealer in Woodbridge, VA believes this alone speaks volumes about the Accord.
Another gem on Honda’s crown came with Consumer Reports magazine rating the 2011 Honda Accord sedan as the recommended buy. If this was not enough, the Honda Accord emerged as a clear winner when it came out with top scores in a newly revised, tougher crash testing by the federal government.
The 2011 Honda Accord, with refreshed styling, gets better gasoline mileage than its 2010 predecessor, too. According to the new federal government fuel economy estimates, the 2011 Honda Accord returns with an impressive 23 miles per gallon in city driving and 34 mpg on the highway*.

The above-mentioned thrifty mileage in the 2011 Honda Accord sedan is the best of all large 2011-model sedans with four-cylinder engine available in the U.S. currently.  Honda Accords also are sold as coupes.

The popularity of the Honda Accord has been on the rise with the sales of Accord increasing to 282,530 units in 2010. With an addition of a new model, the Accord Crosstour that is more of a tall, five-door wagon in the style of today's crossover sport utility vehicles, the sales surged by another 28,000 units in calendar 2010 on top of the 282,530.

The 2011 Honda Accord sedan SE Special Edition features luxury appointments like leather-trimmed seats, heated front seats, driver's seat two-way power lumbar and leather-wrapped steering wheel. The standard safety features includes electronic stability control, antilock brakes, anti-whiplash front head restraints and curtain air bags. The car is roomy and quite comfortable for both front and back seat passengers and nimble in its handling. The rear seat can accommodate three adults comfortably, if need be.

The 2011 Accord sedan SE Special Edition comes complete with a new grille, front bumper and trunk lid. Equipped with a 2.4-liter, double overhead cam four cylinder with Honda's variable valve system mated to a five-speed automatic transmission, the powerplant delivers smooth, capable power that moves the lengthy sedan along without stress. Speaking about the length, the 16.2-foot-long Accord sedan is 3 inches longer than the Sonata and 5 inches longer than the Camry. It is wider than these major competitors, too. Come and check out this large sedan in the showroom of Hendrick Honda in Woodbridge VA anytime in person or to schedule a test drive.
